Re: Kettle River Easter Mission Services
Dear Apostolic Lutheran Congregations of the Eastern Mission,
The Kettle River congregation called Pastor Ken Storm to be our guest speaker for these services and he graciously accepted our call.
We began the special services on Saturday evening at 7:00 on April 23 with Ken Storm speaking. There were around 40 people in attendance with several who were from the area who do not attend the church. Others were from the Duluth and New York Mills congregations. Coffee and refreshments were served after the service.
On Sunday morning we began the services with Brother Ken Storm speaking first followed by Don Bisila. Dinner was served in the church basement at noon and the service continued at 2:00 PM with Brother Ken and continued with Jerry DeVries. In attendance that afternoon were about fifty people. Those from out of the area were from New York Mills and Pike. A few from the small group from Finlayson and again from the Duluth congregation.
We were blessed by the hearing of the Word. We are thankful that Brother Ken Storm accepted our invitation to come to Kettle River to serve us.
